With the aim to expand our biodegradable suture business in the global market, Samyang Holdings established Samyang Biopharm Hungary and constructed a suture factory that can produce up to 100,000 km a year.

Located in the center of Europe and sharing its borders with seven countries, Hungary is known as the European hub of production and logistics. With the demand for around 45% of the total export of suture coming from the European market, Samyang Biopharm Hungary is strengthening our supply stability.

Going forward, Samyang Biopharm Hungary will produce various products using biodegradable materials in addition to biodegradable sutures to expand our position in the European and the global market.
